REV. Andy Hansen
Senior Pastor |
Andy Hansen grew up as the fifth (and final) child of a minister in northern Indiana. While the majority of his childhood was spent in Argos (10 years (It’s a little town just south of South Bend)), he also lived in Culver and Marion Indiana during his high school years.
Andy went to the University of Indianapolis where he graduated with a degree in Marketing and Computer Programming. However, the greatest benefit of his time in College occurred when he met his future wife, Jennifer.
After a career in retail and banking, Andy received a call to ministry. While attending Christian Theological Seminary, he worked as a Youth Director/Assistant Pastor at Loogootee United Methodist Church. Andy graduated from seminary in 1999, and shortly afterwards he received his first full-time appointment at Pekin United Methodist Church. After serving 7 years as pastor there, he was appointed to Sellersburg United Methodist Church in March of 2006.
Andy and Jennifer have 4 children; Luke, Bethany, Evan, and Ezekiel. God has richly blessed their family with love, and continues to be with Andy as he serves in his ministry.
