We are a growing church with new families, children, young adults, singles, and newly married couples. As we continue our mission “across the street and around the world with good news of Jesus Christ,” we are adding new programs, new ministries, and opportunities that will encourage and support the needs of our new church family.

We are a church dedicated to the study of the Bible, God’s Word. As we continue our journey through the pages of the text in 2002, with the Sunday message and individual study, we look forward to 2003, 2004, and beyond for new ways to develop our spiritual growth. Our priorities are:

• Growth in our prayer life
• Understanding of the Word
• A closer walk with the Lord

Additional services, spirit-led worship, expanded Sunday School classes, a Chancel Choir and new ministries are the focus of the Ministry Teams, and the leaders of the Church.

We will continue to seek new ways to bring the Word of God alive. Through drama, contemporary worship, music, dance and special services, Sellersburg United Methodist Church sets the foundation for God-centered worship. It is not “about us” it is about “praising God”.

We continually affirm and teach our church family that those who are “won by the gospel are to live by the gospel”. Sellersburg United Methodist Church strives to “worship God ‘in truth’ not as we think Him to be, not as we hope Him to be, not as we’d like Him to be, but as He is.”
