Loving God and Loving Neighbor
Current Sermon Series
What is your Faith Story?
If asked, would you be able to talk about how God has worked in your life? Many of us would struggle with that question. Most Christians believe that their story is not important or distinct enough to share, yet your story is unique. In this sermon series we will learn how to tell our stories by looking at several stories of faith including members of our church.

Over 5 weeks we will hear from 3 individuals and 2 couples in our church, who like you, have their own stories of faith. Some are flashy, and filled with drama, others are slow and steady changes over many years.

Each story is unique, because each person is unique. What we all have in common, however, is that we are each deeply loved by God. You may not realizing it, but God is at work in you. Learning to tell our faith stories is a way to examine our lives and see how God is working.

Sellersburg United Methodist Church has been a beacon of faith in the community for over 150 years. We are grounded in our faith in Jesus Christ, while continually reaching towards new ways of sharing the good news of God’s amazing and wonderful love. We are an inclusive community welcoming all people. We are a safe space where questions are encouraged, and where we search for the answers together. We are Wesleyan: biblically based, using reason, experience, and tradition to understand and apply scripture. We believe that our love for our neighbor is a reflection of our love for God.
