WELCOME!
Loving God and Loving Neighbor
This month, we are finishing our Sermon Series “Growing Young” based on the book written by the Fuller Youth Institute. Over the first few weeks, we have introduced the ideas of leadership and mentorship that is open to the ideas, and participation of our young people. In the second half, we are looking at how we as Christians, church members, and leaders must change our behaviors, practices, and priorities to be more welcoming and engaging to young people.
Sellersburg United Methodist Church has been a beacon of faith in the community for over 150 years. We are grounded in our faith in Jesus Christ, while continually reaching towards new ways of sharing the good news of God’s amazing and wonderful love. We are an inclusive community welcoming all people. We are a safe space where questions are encouraged, and where we search for the answers together. We are Wesleyan: biblically based, using reason, experience, and tradition to understand and apply scripture. We believe that our love for our neighbor is a reflection of our love for God.
