Greetings in Jesus’ name,
Sellersburg United Methodist Church is committed to going "Across the street and around the world with the good news of Jesus Christ" . With this as our vision we have developed our mission statement: “To win the unchurched to Christ, to welcome all seekers to the kingdom of God, to disciple for service all who attend, to deploy the laity for ministry, bathed in prayer: all for the glory of God.”
In the Gospel of Mark, chapter 9, verse 23 we read, “And Jesus said to him, ‘If you can?’ All things are possible to all who believe.” Since we believe the Bible to be God’s Holy Word we accept this promise that all things are possible and declare Sellersburg United Methodist Church The Possibility Place . You are invited to regularly worship Almighty God with us and be empowered to go across the street and around the world with the good news of Jesus Christ .
