The Jericho Journey
A man journeyed from Jerusalem to Jericho. He was robbed and left for dead. What happened next made all the difference. Jesus tells us to love our neighbors, but what does that mean? Who is my neighbor? Jesus answers these question with a story about a Jericho journey. In our sermon series this month called “Faith Journeys,” we are going to drill down and discover what it means to be a disciple in Christ’s eyes. Using 5 journeys in the Gospel stories, 2 based on actual journeys and 3 within parables, we are going to look at the central teachings of Jesus, and what it means to be a follower of Christ. In this week's journey we join 2 disciples on their journey to Emmaus.
