Coming to a new church can be a high anxiety experience even for those who have been to church their whole lives. We hope this video helps you to get a feel for our church, find out where to park, and know where to go when you get here.
Accessibility
Sellersburg United Methodist Church celebrated the 100th anniversary of our current building in 2025. Being over 100 years old means that accessibility was not a high priority when the building was originally constructed. An education wing was built onto the back of the church in the 1950s and also was not designed to be particularly accessible. That being said, work has been done over the years to improve the church's accessibility.

The Sanctuary level (upstairs) has 2 bathrooms which both have large stalls suitable for wheelchairs. The Basement level (downstairs) has 2 bathrooms which are smaller. There are 3 sets of internal stairs between the two levels.
The Front door to the church has stairs between the sidewalk and the Sanctuary.

The Side Door has a long ramp which leads to the Sanctuary & Fellowship Hall.

The Back door has a ramp to the basement level, but may not work for all wheelchairs.
